Helps Reduce Hypertrophic and Keloid Scars

Cica-Care is a self-adhesive gel sheet that is medically proven to be up to 90% effective in the improvement of hypertrophic and keloid scars. Designed to soften, flatten, and fade red, dark or raised scars that have resulted from surgery, accidents, cuts and burns. Suitable for any part of the body including the face, the gel sheets can be used on closed wounds to prevent scar formation. The scars are not to be used on open or infected wounds, scabs, or stitches however.

Combination of A Silicone Membrane and Gel

Cica-Care is a combination of a silicone membrane and gel, used to occlude the skin to hydrate the scar area. Moisture is locked into the skin around the scar, reducing the blood supply and deposit of collagen. This process is what the body uses to rebuild deeply wounded skin. The scar tissue then becomes paler in colour, closer to the natural colour of your skin.

Reusable for Day and Night Use

Reusable for day or night use, the silicone gel sheets can be washed to reduce possible incidence of skin irritation. To apply, simply cut a gel sheet to fit scar, peel off the protective backing, and position the sheet with ease. Each sheet is sterilised individually, measuring 150 mm x 120 mm (6 x 4 ¾”). The gel sheets last between 14-28 days for optimum support and scar reduction.
